An Attleboro woman was arraigned Monday on charges she beat a man with a piece of cement during a quarrel about money for alcohol.
Karen A. Strang, 38, of 2 Merritt Place in Attleboro, was ordered held in jail on $500 cash bail after she pleaded innocent in Attleboro District Court to assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and attempted robbery, police said. The 46-year-old man was found bleeding from his head and face outside Merritt Place and was taken by ambulance to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, where he was released after treatment.
